Jessie is the founder and principal lawyer at Tundra Law. She specializes in M&A, private lending and financing, tax-driven reorganizations, and corporate governance. Before founding Tundra Law, she served as an outsourced senior legal counsel to mid-cap companies in the industrial sector. Prior to that, she was an associate lawyer in the Ottawa office of a leading Canadian business law firm and, previously, in the Guangzhou office of a major international law firm in China.
Jessie launched Tundra Law to bridge the gap between the increasingly complex legal demands facing micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and the limited resources available to them. She is passionate about providing solopreneurs, micro-businesses, start-ups, and SMEs with accessible, efficient, and expert legal counsel.
Having studied and worked in both Canada and China, Jessie brings a well-rounded, international perspective to her practice. Drawing on her experience and connections within the Canada-China business community, she regularly advises businesses operating across both markets.
Outside of work, Jessie enjoys investigative journalism and crime fiction, and enjoy exploring small towns rich with local stories and quiet charm.
